FULL VIEW PLEASE!

Idril Celebrindal – elven princess. I think it’s not my final vision of her – for example, I always imagined her with straight, silky, silvery-blonde hair, but apparently this dawing was of a different mind on that matter I wanted her eyes to be the first thing to catch the viewer’s attention – they should be clear, piercing and full of light. I think on the sketch they looked better, as the whole drawing was smoother on paper (I did it mostly with a hard pencil, which is new to me, but I liked the effect). As for the ornament on her dress: I always associated Idril with lotus – if I was to draw her emblem (and perhaps one day I will), I would certainly put it in it.
And what’s wrong with the drawind: my standard error – I do the details (as shadind, final lines, etc.) *before* I check all the proportions and lines, and then it’s hard to change the mistakes, and the drawind looks artificial :/ But oh well.. I have to start with something, right?
